Paying your rent

Calandar showing rent due dateIt is a condition of your Tenancy Agreement with us that you pay your rent regularly and on time. Rent is due each Monday, but you can pay monthly if you pay in advance or set up a direct debit.

In order to make paying your rent and service charges both safe and easy, we offer a wide range of options which means you can choose how to pay. You can use any combination of the options described below.

PayPoint logoYou will be given a plastic rent card containing your unique identification number. The card has no value and can only be used to pay your rent, but it can be used at any Post Office or at any location that offers Paypoint. These are mainly smaller retail outlets that have longer opening hours.

Other options include:

  • By direct debit on any date and any frequency via Allpay
  • By calling Allpay on 0330 041 6497 with your debit card details
  • On-line with your rent payment card and debit card at www.allpayments.net

Remember, it is your responsibility to make sure that your rent is paid regularly and is up to date.

 

By telephone

Simply call AllPay on 0330 041 6497 with your debit card details. Payments will be automatically taken from your bank account and will show on your statement as Allpay.net.  A receipt can either be posted or emailed to you.

This automated payment line has a low-cost call rate and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to make a payment using this phone line you will need your Allpay rent payment card.

 

Direct Debit

Direct Debit logoPaying your rent by direct debit is one of the most convenient and cheapest ways to pay rent. We now offer any date any frequency direct debits via Allpay which means you can pay weekly, fortnightly, 4 weekly, or monthly. This means that you will only make a fixed number of payments each year, and will cut out all the time spent queuing to pay your rent. There is also the Direct Debit Guarantee which is operated by all banks and building societies that take part in the scheme. This means that if an error is made you are guaranteed a full and immediate refund from your bank or building society. 
 

On-line at Allpay

Log onto www.allpayments.net and follow the instructions on screen. You will need to have your plastic rent card, which contains your reference number, and your debit card. This service is free and available 24-hours a day, 365/6 days a year. The system is entirely secure and your rent account will be credited with your payment within 3 working days. 
 

Using the Allpay app

All Pay smart phoneYou can pay your rent anytime by using the Allpay payment app on your smart phone or tablet. Simply download the app by clicking on this link http://www.allpay.net/allpay-payment-app

Housing Benefit

If you are claiming Housing Benefit which pays for your rent, it is your responsibility to ensure that your claim is set up and your council has all the information they require to administer your claim. Housing Benefit is intended to pay all or part of your rent and  you must ensure that the claim is in place and let us and the council know of any changes which may affect the payments.
