Hundred Houses Society are pleased to announce that Matt Thomas joined them as their new Chief Executive on Wednesday 1st August. Nick Abbey, Chair of Hundred Houses Society commented: ‘I am delighted to welcome Matt as our new CEO. The Board and team are looking forward to working alongside Matt to deliver our mission of Great Value, Better Services, More Homes. This is an exciting time for Hundred Houses as we look to play our part in delivering new homes in Cambridge and providing an excellent service for our customers.’
Matt has 20 years’ experience in social housing, starting as a Housing Officer, followed by senior roles in both housing management and asset management. In recent years Matt has worked as a consultant and before this he was Director of Housing for Flagship, and Director of Operations and Deputy Chief Executive at Charnwood Neighbourhood Housing.
Matt commented: ‘It’s a real privilege to join Hundred Houses and get the chance to work with the Board and team. Hundred Houses are a great local housing organisation, with a long history of helping to house people in Cambridge and the surrounding area. I am looking forward to working with local partners to deliver more homes in Cambridge, while delivering the best possible service for our customers.’
