Matt Thomas, Chief Executive
Matt joined Hundred Houses as Chief Executive in August 2018. Matt has 20 years’ experience in social housing, starting as a Housing Officer, followed by senior roles in both housing management and asset management. In recent years Matt has worked as a consultant and before this he was Director of Housing for Flagship, and Director of Operations and Deputy Chief Executive at Charnwood Neighbourhood Housing, an arm’s-length management organisation (ALMO).
Matt is passionate about high-quality customer-focused services and delivering the best possible service for our customers. Matt leads our Executive Team, and is a Non-Executive Director of Iceni Homes, the development partnership we have with Suffolk Housing Society and Colne Housing.
Sean Kent, Executive Resources Director
Sean is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, who has worked at executive director level in social housing for more than 13 years with responsibility for operational delivery, human resources, IT, governance and finance.
Sean has experience of raising commercial finance and using tax based structures to facilitate regeneration scenes. Sean has a Master’s degree in Business Administration and is a Chartered Director; winning the Institute of Directors’ Best Third and Public Sector Director of the Year 2016 for the Eastern Region.
Sean worked in accountancy practice and the Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry before working in housing. He has experience of non-executive positions on boards in health care, manufacturing and policing. Sean chairs the Audit Committee of East Coast Community Healthcare CIC and has particular interests in coaching and diversity.
Tracey Spencer, Executive Operations Director
Tracey joined the Executive Team at Hundred Houses Society in May 2017 and has 25 years’ experience in social housing with a track record of delivering highly effective landlord services, whilst driving significant change programmes and improving performance and customer service.
Prior to joining Hundred Houses Society, Tracey held a range of local, regional and national roles with Sanctuary Housing and Circle 33 Housing Trust. Over this period she held senior roles and was responsible for the East Region, London and a national Extra Care service.
