Completion and New Beginnings: Blackberry Way, Stretham welcomes the last of its new residents

In April 2025, Hundred Houses Society proudly marked the completion of the Blackberry Way development with the handover of the final two homes. This much-anticipated scheme, comprising four one-bedroom bungalows and two two-bedroom houses, is now fully complete.
The one-bedroom bungalows, designed with comfort and accessibility in mind, were all successfully let in November 2024. These thoughtfully designed homes quickly became ideal spaces for individuals and couples looking for a modern, manageable place to call home.
The final stage of the development saw two spacious two-bedroom houses completed and ready for tenants to move in. One of these homes is now occupied by Miss Emily Burgess and Mr Sebastian Hutter, who faced housing uncertainty after their previous rental property was sold. Thanks to the timely handover, they were able to move in with minimal disruption — avoiding any extended period without suitable accommodation.
Miss Burgess shared her heartfelt thanks:
"We absolutely love our house. Thank you so much for all your hard work in getting us here!"
Her message reflects the relief and gratitude felt by many residents now settling into their new homes at Blackberry Way - a welcoming new community built with care and purpose.
At Hundred Houses Society, we are proud to provide high-quality, affordable homes that support people to thrive.
Blackberry Way is more than just a development - it's a vibrant new chapter for our residents, and a strong example of how timely, well-delivered housing can make a lasting difference.
