Our communities

We work in a defined area which covers a range of communities, and have good connections to various local organisations, partners, communities and people.  We recognise that by working together we can have a greater impact, and through our sustainability strategy we aim to promote our work and influence on becoming and adopting more sustainable practises.  Where we have influence we will encourage the wider community to adopt more environmentally and socially sustainable actions.  We will achieve this by:

 

• Actively promoting our sustainability strategy and objectives in the communities where we operate
• Provide regular updates on our achievements
• Work with a panel of local partners to deliver sustainability focussed projects within our communities
• Have a programme of community energy efficiency, renewable energy and heat initiatives
• Provide support and education with our partners to the communities where we operate
