I am very pleased to be able to tell you that Hundred Houses has been upgraded by the housing regulator.
Today, the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), the housing association regulator, has announced that we have been upgraded from G3 to a G2 rating, meaning that we are once again compliant in our Governance. This follows a downgrading in 2015 when there were concerns about the way HHS was being run. Today’s announcement comes after 18 months of hard work by our Board and employees working with the HCA to make improvements throughout the organisation.
Our Chair of the Board, Nick Abbey, appointed in 2015, said ‘it is brilliant to have achieved an important milestone, but I recognise that HHS needs to continue to improve its services for residents in the coming years.’
We have a strong team in place in order to continue improving, while delivering our plans to work with our partners to build more affordable homes in Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire. This is a great achievement by the whole team, who have worked very hard to make this happen, I’d like to thank everyone who was involved in the process.
