With our current Chair, Nick Abbey retiring after 6 years at our Annual General Meeting in September, we have begun the search for a new Chair to help build on our recent success, by working in partnership with our customers, Board, Executive Team and local partners.
Our new Chair will provide leadership to the Board and help set the overall strategic direction for Hundred Houses, making sure we deliver our mission and objectives, through our Corporate Strategy.
This is an exciting time for Hundred Houses and we are seeking someone who shares our values, believes in the importance of social housing and can help lead Hundred Houses to deliver further success.
It is not essential that applicants have a social housing background or have been a Chair of a housing organisation before, but applicants should have a commitment to customer service, a knowledge of what makes for good governance, the ability to chair effectively and excellent communication and leadership skills.
We are looking for candidates that are passionate about making a difference to the people and communities we serve. We particularly encourage applications from underrepresented groups and communities including those with a disability, younger people, women, LGBTQ+ and Black, Asian and other minority ethnicities.
