The Board comprises of non-executive members who are responsible for directing the affairs of the Society. In accordance with our Rules, they act in the interests of the Society and for the benefit of the community.
Board members are selected from a wide background bringing together professional, commercial, financial and local experience. There are currently ten Board members.
Sharon began her human resources career in Cambridgeshire over 20 years ago. Now a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, her sector experience spans financial services, charities, telecoms, media, FMCG, construction, and professional bodies. She currently works as a self-employed consultant enabling positive change and development in organisations, and her previous permanent role was as Global HR Director for RICS. Sharon is an experienced executive coach, strategist, and facilitator, and has significant experience across all areas of HR and OD including recruitment, engagement, reward, and coaching, mentoring, inclusion and diversity, and talent and leadership development.
