The Board comprises of non-executive members who are responsible for directing the affairs of the Society. In accordance with our Rules, they act in the interests of the Society and for the benefit of the community.
Board members are selected from a wide background bringing together professional, commercial, financial and local experience. There are currently ten Board members.
Bruce started his career in local government qualifying as an accountant and has worked for a number of leading advisers and funders to the housing association sector. He has considerable experience in advising and funding both public and private sector bodies seeking to establish partnerships, structures and relationships to deliver housing in both high demand and regeneration areas throughout the United Kingdom. Bruce has lived in the Cambridge area for 27 years and is committed to trying to provide affordable housing across all tenures to those in housing need.
Bruce served on the Notting Hill Genesis Board, Chaired the Audit & Risk Committee and served on the Treasury Committee (initially with Genesis Housing Association and since April 2018 with Notting Hill Genesis) to September 2021.
