How can I become more involved in the work of the Society?

The Society is always looking for more people to become involved and there are many ways that you can do this:

a) You can come along to one of the Tenants Association Meetings, which are held every month. The Tenants Association, which is run by the Society’s tenants, makes sure that all tenants are receiving proper services from the Society, and also arranges many social events and outs.
b) You can support your Tenants Association at the events that they organise which are usually advertised in the newsletter and listed on the website.
c) The Tenants Association meets every three months. with the Society’s staff and monitors the work carried out and reports on areas that need more attention. It also looks are specific areas such as the policy on repairs and influences changes in these areas
d) You can let the Society know your views by completing the survey forms that are sent out or by simply telling us about a problem or suggestion you have.
e) You can come to one of the Society’s roadshows or surgeries that are held regularly in villages and other areas that are some distance from the offices. These events are always advertised a few weeks in advance and listed on our website.
f) You can come to one of our review meetings. At these meetings you will meet members of staff to discuss what works well and what doesn’t work so well in a particular service.
g) You can join the Tenants’ Editorial meeting. A group of tenants meets to decide what should be featured in the tenant’s newsletter.
h) You can set up an interest group and use our offices free of charge to hold your event.
