How do I get my home adapted?

If you are disabled or have difficulty getting around your home, we may be able to help you remain in your home by adapting it. For example we could fit a grab rail by your bath, a ramp, or lever taps. We may also be able to arrange for your home to be adapted to incorporate a walk-in shower or a chair lift.

Usually we will have to work with Social Services who will assess what is required. In some cases you may have to apply for a grant or other funding or contribute something towards the cost of these works. Contact us in the first instance to discuss what you need to make living at home easier.

If you have any queries at all, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
